A Letter on Taqleed
Submitted by admin on Sat, 12/27/2008 - 03:22
It should be remembered that the two senior Imaams, namely, Imaam Abu Hanifah and Imam Maalik were in touch with Sahaabah. They had acquired their Islamic knowledge from Sahaabah as well as from numerous such senior Scholars who had studied under the Sahaabah. Thus, they were in close proximity to the age of Rasulullah (sallall~hu alayhi wasallam). Read more

Detailed discussion about placing the hands beneath the Navel during Salaah being Sunnah
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 03:27
The Position of Hands in Qiyaam
Upon entering a Masjid, a person sees a multitude of different people. Some of them he sees standing in prayer with their hands clasped together on the chest. Others he sees with their hands beneath the navel. Then as he proceeds further he observes one with his hands held together just beneath the chest. Following that he catches sight of a person who seems to be merely standing there. However, when he takes a closer look, he finds that this person too is engrossed in prayer, but he has not brought his hands together. instead he has left them at his sides. Read more

Detailed Discussion about Reciting behind the Imam during Salah
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 03:29
By Maulana Abdur-Rahman Ibn Yusuf
?The issue, whether to recite Surah Fatihah behind the Imaam or not, has been one of great controversy and dispute since early times. It is not just a petty argument regarding which is better and more virtuous, but it is a debate whether reciting Surah Fatihah is permissible or forbidden for the one performing Salaah behind the Imaam. For this reason it holds a very important place among the various issues regarding Salaah. As a result there have been numerous debates between the scholars and so many books and articles have been written about it. Read more

Detailed discussion about saying Ameen Silently during Salaah being Sunnah
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 03:32
Saying aameen after completing the recitation of Surah Fatihah holds great virtues and is a sunnah of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). A hadith states, "When the imaam says 'ghairil maghdhoobi alayhim waladh dhalleen', say aameen (because the angels say aameen and) whichever person s aameen coincides with the aameen of the malaikah, all his past sins are forgiven. The Feet In Salaat - The Salafi Error
Introduction
In this fourteenth century of the Islamic era, a recently mushroomed sect known as the Salafis, has invented some new rules which they believe are the Sunnat teachings of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Inspite of their views being in conflict with the teachings of the Salf-e-Saaliheen belonging to the Noblest Ages of Islam (Khairul Quroon), they obstinately cling to their misguided opinions. Their method is to subject the Ahadith to their personal understanding. Inspite of the divergence which this self-opinion produces from the Way of the Ummah inherited from the Sahaabah, the Salafis intransigently cling to their deviation. Read more

Evidence for 20 Rakahs Taraweeh
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 03:35
It has been discussed previously in Al-Albani Unveiled, and by the admission of his own followers, that al-Albani has declared the practice of 20 rak'ahs of taraweeh prayer in the holy month of Ramadan to be a reprehensible innovation (bid'ah)! What concerns us here is not the actual number of rak'ahs, but the consideration that he has over reached himself by declaring a known practice of the Sahaba (may Allah be pleased with them) to be a bid'ah! To any sane, sincere and objective minded reader the implication of his claim is clear, namely, he has declared the unanimous practise of the Companions to be a bid'ah! Allah forbid. Read more

The Deception of the Devious Salafis
Submitted by admin on Fri, 08/08/2008 - 03:21

When a man wishes to unfetter himself from the restrictions of the Shari'ah and the Sunnah in the present day, the solution for him is to become a so-called salafi.
Once he joins the salafi deviant sect, he is free to find expression for his nafsaani opinions. In order to draw unwary and ignorant Muslims into its fold of dhalaal and baatil, the modernists salafis employ deception on a large scale. Read more
