A story of a Vietnamese Revert
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:54
I testify that there is no God, but Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah
That is the Shahadah I had pronounced from the bottom of my heart in front of a crowed audience at a mosque in the Kingdom of Belgium on the 19th of May, 2000, when I just reached the age of 26. Read more

A True Story of How a Punk Accepts Islaam
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:32
Let's start at the beginning (always a good place, Al-hamdu li-Llaah). Life began for me in a place called Chatham in Kent in England way, way back in 1383H/1963CE. I am a girl, an only child. My parents and their parents and their parents, etc., were all English along with myself so as you can see I am not from an Islaamic background. Anyway, when I was only a little tot of barely 4 years my parents packed up and whooshed us all across the Atlantic to North America. My parents loved it over there but I grew up to hate it. I never got on there no matter how hard I tried. With my limited knowledge I felt English at heart (may Allaah protect me from feelings of nationalism and other such nonsense) and my mission in life was to return to the UK. I had a long wait in front of me. Read more

Amina - A Story of a Polish Revert
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:52
Salam everyone,
I want to share you the story of my friend Amina, who is Polish and lives in Poland ,who embraced Islam after hearing the adhan (azan) in Poland (I didn't even know u would hear somewhere azan in Poland in public). English is her second language btw. It is very inspirational, makes you realise just how the call to prayers of Adhan in a non Muslim country can be a path to open the doors of Islam to people, and here is her story.. I am awed of her family acceptance. I am aware that there are many stories of people who come to Islam, but it is pretty rare to read one from a person in Poland ;) but Alhamduillah Amina informed that after telling two girls about Islam in Poland, they both embraced Islam as well.
May Allah guide us to give good Dawah, Ameen. Read more

Major Canadian Christian Missionary Converts to Islam
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:50
A very important Christian missionary converted to Islam and became a major herald for Islam, he was a very active missionary and was very knowledgeable about the Bible...
This man likes mathematics so much, that's why he likes logic. One day, he decided to read the Quran to try to find any mistakes that he might take advantage of while inviting Muslims to convert to Christianity.... He expected the Koran to be an old book written 14 centuries ago, a book that talks about the desert and so on...He was amazed from what he found. He discovered that this Book had what no other book in the world has.... He expected to find some stories about the hard time that the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) had, like the death of his wife Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) or the death of his sons and daughters...however, he did not find anything like that... and what made him even more confused is that he found a full "sura"(chapter) in the Koran named "Mary" that contains a lot of respect to Mary(peace be upon her) which is not the case even in the books written by Christians nor in their bibles. He did not find a Sura named after "Fatimah"(the prophet's daughter) nor "Aishah"(the Prophet's wife), may Allah(God) be pleased with both of them. He also found that the name of Jesus(Peace Be Upon Him) was mentioned in the Koran 25 times while the name of "Mohammed"(Peace Be Upon Him) was mentioned only 4 times, so he became more confused. He started reading the Koran more thoroughly hoping to find a mistake but he was shocked when he read a great verse which is verse number 82 in Surat Al-Nisa'a(Women) that says: Read more

My Non-Muslim Mother
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:55
The following is a touching story about a Revert Muslim and his mother. Before he was a Muslim, he lived with his mother until he was about 18 years old. Then he moved out of her home and lived in a different place on his own. During those days, he met some Muslims and became a very close friend to them. Eventually he himself became a Muslim after learning about the beautiful religion of Islam from them. He made an effort every day to learn more and more about Islam. One day, he came to learn about the benefits of being good to one's parents. He learned that: A person who looks at his parents with the eyes of obedience gets the reward of one accepted Hajj! (The reward is mentioned in an authentic hadith of Sahih Muslim). Read more

My Reversion to Islaam: Why I Like Being a Muslim
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:36
I am a Muslim and accepted Islaam as a complete way of life, two years ago. I knew within myself that I wanted to change, to move away from being caught up in the world. I was searching for the truth. Fortunately I was able to be shown Islaam. In Islaam I was able to get information and answers to many questions and problems which I had, and this made a difference.
Personally, I like being a Muslim because of the basic but strict and helpful guidelines which are set down by Almighty Allah through His Prophets to ensure that we lead a clean and God-fearing life. We as Muslims follow guidance and commands which make our lives so simple that we know without questioning what is right and what is wrong. We look upon everything with the eyes of a believer, knowing full well that we would be rewarded for our good deeds and punished for our bad deeds, whether another human being sees us or not. Running Wild, Finding Islam
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:48
I wonder where to start this story. I became a Muslim officially on January 1, 2006, in Damascus, Syria. But I made Shahadah in 2003 when I stood in a sunlit meadow and told God my hopes and dreams. The truth is I always feel like a "new" Muslim because there are so many things that I don't know. I stand with one foot in the Muslim world and one in the non-Muslim world. This is very painful, very harsh.
As a basically self-taught Muslim, I have wandered the Internet and the bookstores in search of true Islam. I have had only a little direction, although I have received a lots of misdirection. It has been a struggle to get the facts right and weed out people's cultural beliefs. I made a point early on to learn Qur'an and Sunnah and leave everything else aside. I have struggled a lot to get where I am, and it has been both a joy and a heartache. Read more

The Choicest Find: Islaam
Submitted by admin on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 19:33
There is no time and space here to prove from the text of the gospels that the words of 'Eesaa alayhis salaam concerning the Oneness of Allah are a far cry from the language of the Trinitarians. I tried to find the truth about the Oneness of Allah in Christianity but failed. However I tried to heed the words of 'Eesaa alayhis salaam, "Knock and the door will open. Seek and you will find ..."
