DOORS
Baab Jibreel
It is in the eastern wall of Prophet’s Mosque. It is also called Baab-un-Nabi since the Prophet [Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam] used to enter the mosque through this door. It was also known as Baab Osman since it was in front of Osman’s [Radhiallaahu anhu] house. Read more

Isra' and Mi'raj

Holy Prophet's (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) Journey by Night
(Isra' and Mi'raj)
Of the multi-myriad nights that have fallen upon the earth, there is one particular night that turned into a great light. The whole firmament on that night was appareled in a superb robe of brightness. The resplendent luster of that night is not the figment of any poetic imagination. It was not a dream, nor a reverie, nor a trance, nor a fantasy. It was as lively and real as life itself.

Let us Attune our Life with the Seerah
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 03:20
All praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and His forgiveness and we believe in Him and rely on Him. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of our selves and the vices of our deeds. There is none to let go astray whom Allah guides and there is none to guide whom Allah lets go astray. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah Alone. He has no partner. I also bear witness that our sire, and our Prophet and our Master, Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger. May Almighty Allah send on him on his household and on his Companions his mercy and bless them and send them peace in abundance. Read more

Mankind’s Debt To The Prophet
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 01:25
Muhammad possessed that combination of qualities which more than once has decided the fate of empires ... Asserting that everlasting truth, he did not engage in vain metaphysics, but applied himself to improving the social condition of the people by regulations respecting personal cleanliness, sobriety, fasting and prayer. Muhammad the Prophet - By Non Muslim Prof. K. S. Ramakrishna Rao

Muhammad The Prophet
By Prof. K. S. Ramakrishna Rao, Head of the Department of Philosophy,
Government College for Women University of Mysore, Mandya-571401 (Karnatika).
In the desert of Arabia was Mohammad born, according to Muslim historians, on April 20, 571. The name means highly praised. He is to me the greatest mind among all the sons of Arabia. He means so much more than all the poets and kings that preceded him in that impenetrable desert of red sand.
When he appeared Arabia was a desert -- a nothing. Out of nothing a new world was fashioned by the mighty spirit of Mohammad -- a new life, a new culture, a new civilization, a new kingdom which extended from Morocco to Indies and influenced the thought and life of three continents -- Asia, Africa and Europe. The birthday of Holy Prophet: a celebration or a message
Submitted by admin on Wed, 05/20/2009 - 02:18
It was the end of sixth century when ism prevailed all around and non-civilized state was touching its peaks. All big religions of that time had failed to ameliorate the situation and they did not have any remedy to the menace of debauchery and irregularity. Religions had met high distortion and amendments that it was difficult to find their real shapes.
Mostly unimportant traditions were considered as religions and worshiping. Weaker people were subjected to terrible atrocities and excesses. Disobedience had become a tradition. It was not only a society, city or country which was experiencing such a terrible situation but riots, lawlessness and anti-social activities had gripped the entire world. Read more

The Greatest Prophets Muhammed [Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam]
Submitted by admin on Wed, 05/20/2009 - 02:05
IN the annals of men, individuals have not been lacking who conspicuously devoted their lives to the socio-religious reform of their connected peoples. We find them in every epoch and in all lands. In India, there lived those who transmitted to the world the Vedas, and there was also the great Gautama Buddha; China had its Confucius; the Avesta was produced in Iran. Babylonia gave to the world one of the greatest reformers, the Prophet Abraham (not to speak of such of his ancestors as Enoch and Noah about whom we have very scanty information). The Jewish people may rightly be proud of a long series of reformers: Moses, Samuel, David, Solomon, and Jesus among others. Read more

Virtues of the Prophets Mosque in Madina
Submitted by admin on Sun, 12/28/2008 - 03:14
1) The Foundation of the Prophet’s Mosque was Laid on Piety
Prophet’s mosque is one of those mosques whose foundation was laid on piety. This is described in the Qur’an and Hadith. Allah Ta’ala states in al-Tawbah 108:
‘Verily, the mosque whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety is more worthy that you stand therein (to pray). In it are men who love to clean and to purify themselves. And Allah loves those who make themselves clean and pure.’
It is narrated by Abu Sa’eed al-Khudriy [Radhiallaahu anhu] that Prophet Muhammad [Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam] said, ‘The above verse is describing the Prophet’s mosque.’ (Muslim 15:1398) Read more
